The good, the bad, & the ugly: I am a huge nerd. I cannot function without my daily to do lists. My Blackberry has recently made me more OCD. My husband is my hero. Jesus is my savior. Running is my release. Going to the movies is fun. I love details. Chocolate is delicious. I constantly crave jelly beans. I laugh at my own lame jokes. My goofy dog makes me laugh. Buttons are creepy. I am an impulsive shopper-yikes. Birthdays are fantastic. I fall asleep at 11 pm no matter where I am and...I sometimes talk in my sleep. Sunflower fields are beautiful. Green is my favorite color. I am a nurse. and taking pictures of awesome people is my passion! My name is Sara. My husband is Wes. My dog is Oliver. That is my tiny family. Otman & Stephanie are getting married March 20th in Greenville! I am super excited!! We decided to do a last minute mini engagement session last week. Poor Stephanie had a bad cold, so I am not sure how much she actually enjoyed having her pictures taken, but she definitely ROCKED the camera. Stephanie is also a great photographer. You can check out some of her work HERE. AND Otman is in the limo business. Can’t wait for the big day! I hope you love your pictures!

March 7, 2010 - 8:49 pm - Sara - Thank you so much! I am definitely not used to being in front of the camera, and I'm no supermodel, but your talent and passion for photography has ruled again! I will treasure these photos forever. Otman and I don't get to spend a lot of time together because we work so much on different schedules, so we never get photographs together lately. You ROCK.
Anthony & Steph are getting married on April 2nd- SO SOON!! I did their engagement session last week and we had a blast. They are such a sweet couple!! I went to nursing school with Steph and I have always thought she was the sweetest person. Anthony reminds me so much of Wes– not just because he’s from Philly, but he’s super easy going and fun! I can’t wait to photograph the wedding. These two are obviously madly in love!

Happy birthday to our little bachelorette! Mary had a packed weekend full of bachelorette fun and her birthday is today! She is getting married to Ryan in 26 DAYS!! SO CLOSE! We love you, LMR– have a wonderful birthday!!

Also, my sweet puppy is 2 today!! Happy birfy Oliver! (sorry LMR– you have to share a bday with my dog, but you get presents and a special day and he only gets a bone and a regular day playing outside).
I have had the greatest pleasure documenting William’s life. I think this is my 4th session with him. I love him so much! We got together the other day for his 1 year portraits and he wasn’t too much in the mood for pictures. Poor thing had an ear infection, he was cutting a tooth, AND it was freezing outside! Considering all of the circumstances, he was a trooper. Basically this was just a candid shoot . He gave me one smile in the fire truck and that was it, but I will say that his pouty face is even cute. We will be doing another shoot with him in the next few weeks when he’s feeling better! Enjoy!
