My sister-in-law, Kaitlin, is getting married in May (see engagement pictures below). Today, we went over to eat lunch with the family and this was sitting on my placemat! Naturally, I flipped out because #1-I LOVE Jelly Beans (they are my absolute fav) and #2- I am so excited and honored to be a bridesmaid…not necessarily in that order . She has been very creative and thoughtful in the way she has asked people to be in the wedding in order to make us all feel very special! Thanks Kait…I cannot WAIT!

While we were in Edisto for the annual Parker family vacation, I also had the privilege of taking some early high school graduation pictures for Anna (my sister-in-law). She did beautifully despite the gale-force winds, gray skies, and hazy conditions. There were several times in which I had to regain my balance because the wind was so strong! Thanks to my friend, Ashley, I am being advertised as a wedding photographer in her Columbia Bella Weddings Guide. This is definitely a first for me, so she has done so much to help me. She wanted me to take a few headshots of her to go next to her letter from the publisher. Not sure if this is the one she used, but it’s one of my favorites. She is so pretty! One of my best friends, Courtney, is pregnant and just found out she is having a girl! She came to Columbia last weekend to visit, so we all hung out the entire weekend. It was so good to see her. While she was here, we had a mini baby shower for her. Our friend Mary made these beautiful cupcakes for her! No, she is not naming her baby girl Henry…that is her last name She didn’t know she was having a girl until after she went back home. Congratulations Kirk & Courtney!
