Mr. & Mrs. Brodrick/ Sneak Peek!

So, my life has been pretty busy and stressful lately. I apologize for the lack of posts… I promise I am working on it! For now, here is a tiny sneak peek of the rainy, but oh so precious, Valentine’s Day wedding. Full post is coming soon!

Opening Day

This weekend was opening weekend for the Gamecock’s new baseball stadium! My husband LOVES baseball so, by default, I do too! :) . My husband, brother, and I went to the game yesterday and we killed The Duquesne Dukes 13 to ZIP!! I had my fill of baseball for the week so today, Wes took his dad and brother to the game. Here are some highlights from yesterday… check out the fancy tickets!

It has been a busy couple weeks… I am working on a wedding I shot on Valentine’s Day and I have a wedding and several shoots coming up! I will do my best to provide you with some interesting stuff over the next few weeks to hold you over until I can post my latest work :)

Jenna & Cristyn: Bridal

**If your name is TREVOR and you are getting married on March 7, 2009, you are not allowed to scroll down!! At all! Period.

Last Sunday, I did one of the most fun things ever! I photographed 2  GORGEOUS brides! It was like 3 sessions in one… Jenna’s portraits, Cristyn’s portraits, and Jenna & Cristyn together because they are SISTERS! So cool! I wish my sister was old enough to be getting married so we could have a double bride shoot!

Jenna is getting married on March 7 and I am the photographer!! Yay! She is getting married at the place we did the shoot: Springdale House and Gardens. This is a beautiful Charleston-style house with TONS of awesome window light in Springdale, SC. Oh! and by the way, Jenna is an amazing videographer… check out her website www.silverlocketproductions.com. Cristyn got married in October, but never got bridal portraits. I was honored to be able to do that for her! We had so much fun, as you will see. They are both so gorgeous and sometimes hard to tell apart… I kept looking at Cristyn and asking her questions about her upcoming wedding. Embarrassing.

Okay, so once again, tons of pictures…BUT I did really  fairly well considering the 400 from which I had to choose. Trevor, if you are still reading…shame on you! I have given you 3 chances already to turn back: (1) the title of the post is a big hint, (2) the warning above, and (3) the 2 paragraphs above to stall you even more. I will give you one more chance by posting Cristyn’s portraits first… you have already seen how amazing she looked (Trevor officiated Cristyn’s wedding!). Enough talk…onto the goods:

I guess I need to explain the next few shots… Trevor is really into camping and fishing, so we brought along some props and had some fun with it! I think he is going to love it!

Naturally, tons of cars were beeping, but the funny thing was that the people beeping were all elderly! Precious. That makes it all ok.

I love her expression here. I was able to get some really cute candids with her mom and sister there:

Happy Love Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all my loyal blog readers! I hope I find you feeling very loved. Today has been a wonderful, yet crazy day filled with many of my favorite things. FROM waffles, flower-filled vases in each room of the house from my incredible husband and beautiful roses sent without fail each and every year from my sweet daddy, sweet cards from loved ones, an awesome homemade salmon dinner and caramel apple pie on our china we never use, my FAVORITE cookies (thanks to Savannah, specifically my fam),  and a goody bag with candy & a movie (from the Parker I fam) TO photographing a beautiful couple on their wedding day (yep! a Valentine’s Day wedding!) TO late-night movies with my favorite movie candy, compliments of the thoughtful hubby once again…whew, deep breath…I feel VERY loved and exhausted!! How, you ask, did all this happen in one day???…I simply do not know.

I want to take this opportunity to tell all of you how thankful I am for your love and support. Of course I cannot post something about love without a shout-out to the love of my life: I am so blessed to have a loving, rock-solid husband. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him, not to mention what I even did before him! ;) I think it is amazing that ever since I have known him, he has NEVER been unpleasant, mean, or crabby (not even when he is tired or hungry!)–always cheerful and optimistic. He is too good for me. I love my family. Every piece of them. From blood family to my relatively new Parker I family :) and I love my friends.
