How come babies get longer eyelashes than we do? Did I have lashes like that when I was a baby? Do they shorten as we get older? When does that happen? I thought things were supposed to grow as we got older. hmmm.

Yesterday, Wes and I threw a wedding shower for Kent and Kait, who are getting married on May 30th. Here are some fun shots from the night

We played a few games… this is Madison (one of Kait’s best friends and a bridesmaid, of course) diligently working on the “How well do you know Kent & Kait?” quiz, which she WON!

This is Kent’s sister-in-law, Ashley and her son B.J. (I think he stole the show ).

The other game we played was “How well do you know each other?”… we had kent and Kait make up questions for each other before the shower and made them keep it a secret until the shower. For every question they got wrong, they had to put a piece of ‘Dubble Bubble’ in their mouth. Kent’s questions for Kait ended up being a lot harder than her questions for him, so Kait ended up with a large wad of gum in her mouth. (next 2 shots taken by Karin)

Meanwhile, Wes grilled out in the rain for everyone. He was such a champ . The burgers & hotdogs were great… thanks Wes!!!
