I have had the greatest pleasure documenting William’s life. I think this is my 4th session with him. I love him so much! We got together the other day for his 1 year portraits and he wasn’t too much in the mood for pictures. Poor thing had an ear infection, he was cutting a tooth, AND it was freezing outside! Considering all of the circumstances, he was a trooper. Basically this was just a candid shoot
. He gave me one smile in the fire truck and that was it, but I will say that his pouty face is even cute. We will be doing another shoot with him in the next few weeks when he’s feeling better! Enjoy!

The cutest fireman.
We’re getting there!
It doesn’t look like much, but if you compare it with where we started, you will see progress! In case you missed the first post on this, we are re-doing the back room of our house to become my photography office on one side and a master bathroom/laundry room on the other side. The electrical work is finished, the ceiling is vaulted and insulated (for the most part) and framing and wall frame are up. Please excuse the mess… the left side will be my office and the other side will be the bathroom. Wes is so sweet to do all this and he has had tons of wonderful and willing helpers. Thanks to everyone who is pitching in to make this happen!! I can’t tell you how much we appreciate it! On March 6th, the plan is to get the dry wall up and windows installed. I will post another picture then. After that, it’s just painting and flooring
. I can’t wait. We are looking at the office side to be finished by the first of April. I have all my furniture, new toys (i.e. iMac), and some decorations all set so I am really itching to get it all in place!
my sweet niece
We went to Cincinnati this weekend to visit some of my family. We were so busy {& tired} that I didn’t get a chance to do an official photo shoot of the kids this time. I KNOW! sad! We were literally on our way out the door to drive back home and I couldn’t resist. Addie Grace had all her beads out and she was just too cute! I grabbed my camera and she was all smiles! That smile just melts my heart. She is such a sweetheart. She loves her Aunt Sara. She wouldn’t let me put her down all weekend, which is completely fine with me. I do think that I came back with some extra arm muscles
. Hopefully I can grab some updated shots of her older brothers Paul & Charlie soon!
She calls her bow her “pretty” (extra emphasis on the “t’s”). I love the Bam Bam look…her reddish hair trips me out! I am thinking that and the fair skin come from her mama’s side??
She looks so much like her brother Charlie.
Monster!
Another hat from Tot Toppers! I took these pictures a long time ago, but I am now allowed to reveal them. I love this hat. It reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are (the book, not the movie. I hear the movie is lame…). Happy Monday! I might post something else today if you’re lucky to make up for not posting for several days.
