Here is my Spring fashion guide. Hope it helps!

(1) you don’t have to match (i.e. white shirts and jeans) unless you want to. I recommend wearing different colors,

(2) try not to wear extreme contrasting colors between people (i.e. mom wears a white shirt and dad wears a black shirt), keep the colors within the same spectrum. Notice that it is alright if  a single outfit/outfit accessory is contrasting…

(3) fun and funky patterns and accessories are welcomed!!! This always makes your pictures “pop” more. Feel free to be creative and have fun with it!

I assure you this post has nothing to do with Victoria’s Secret. I just figured I should get on the bandwagon of spring posts. These little blossoms are one of my favorites! I love all the Japanese flowers and the big white fluffy trees too (clearly, I am not educated on my flower species)… I almost drove off the road the other day trying to admire them. Spring makes me happy.

Wes surprised me the other day with this precious little arrangement of flowers he picked from our back yard (you know, the GORGEOUS tree behind the fence that nobody can see?).

We are pretty hard core when it comes to our Tot Toppers shoots. This session was done in the rain! We were on our way out to do the shoot and it hadn’t started raining yet so we decided to go for it. Then it started raining off and on, almost like it was teasing us, but we were determined. As soon as we got to the location it started raining and didn’t stop. I had 3 models and all of them did a fabulous job. I didn’t get many smiles, but I completely understand given the circumstances. One of the models was Kate’s beautiful sister, so I of course got some smiles from her .  I have done shoots in VERY light sprinkling rain before, but not like this. I must say… you can’t even tell it was raining. It was actually great lighting. If it weren’t for my concern for the life of my camera, I would shoot in the rain all the time Enjoy!

This sweet couple is getting married on July 3rd… sadly, I already had plans when they asked me to photograph the wedding. On the bright side, I got to do their engagement session and I get to do Lara’s bridals in May! Yay! They were so much fun to work with- they had NO problem doing anything and everything I asked them to do; even when I was just joking . They are romantic, funny, and goofy all in one perfect little package! Enjoy the pics! Thanks for the laughs, you guys!
