BOOM.

Ahhhhhhhhh….I cannot tell you how GOOD it feels to have SPACE!! My husband is the greatest. Really. A quick shout out to all those who helped and then I will get into all the details. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES TO… (in no specific order): Chuck, Kent, Ben, Landon, Jordan, Chris, Brian, Ryan for your love, support, and muscles in making this happen for me. You guys rock!

Here is what the office looks like when you walk in from the kitchen: (side note: Oliver loves to snuggle on my brand new rug, so look quick while it’s clean!). Everything is completely finished and decorated except that wall to the left (above the white chair) will hold a canvas and float wrap collage as soon as I can get around to picking them out.

View from the back of the room. Look at those AMAZING hardwood floors!! Wes did them himself! I think I was most impressed with how those turned out. He is pretty much a genious :) All of this furniture has been sitting all around the house since around December!! Talk about CLUTTER! So glad to finally have it in it’s rightful place!

My main office space. Finally set up the iMac, which had been sitting in its original box since December. It was like Christmas day setting everything up! The difference between the 15 inch laptop screen and the 21.5 inch computer screen has really taken some getting used to (especially the color differences, so bear with me… my photos might look a little different in coloring for a while)…

One of my favorite new things: the decal wall calendar!!

An old window I turned into part magnet-/ part cork- board complete with baby camera pushpins:

The daybed/couch/queen bed. I just love this! For now, it serves as a couch. BUT it can pull out into a big ole queen-sized bed!! AND it has big deep drawers for storage underneath!

My jute blinds and dandelion decals above the big window (It’s kind of hard to see):

I keep most of my sample albums and vintage cameras in my hutch:

my favorite vintage camera that I got at a Baltimore flea market when visiting Dylan & Karin!

Next up for renovations: master bathroom/laundry room THEN in about a year, the kitchen.

Last week was a beast, so sorry for not blogging. NO worries, though, I have TONS of posts coming starting tomorrow (Justin & Lauren maternity, Faulkenberry wedding, Dylan & Karin maternity and loads more!). Check back soon!!

Mason & Megan: Engagement!

If this is not one of the most BEAUTIFUL couples you have EVER seen, I don’t know what to tell ya! Mason & Megan are getting married on July 17th in Charleston and I can’t wait! I had so much fun with them at the engagement session. I am just so in love with this shoot. Mason & Megan, thanks so much for being willing to dodge all the cow poo and mud and for being so stinkin’ cute! You guys ROCK!

Megan has GORGEOUS eyes!!

Happy FRIDAY!!

David & Katie are Married! {PART II}

Part II from David & Katie’s BIG DAY! The reception was at City Art- such a neat place.

Waving at some drive-by honkers…

LOVE this family:

This is a shot of all the Clemson alumni and students. My lens wasn’t QUITE wide enough to fit everyone because it was basically everyone who attended! I had to stand on a chair to even attempt it!

One of my past brides, Amy (her new hubby, I believe, is deployed :( ), and her twin sister /one of my future brides, Beth!! I just love it when I see my past/future brides at other weddings!! So fun! … and there I am in the background! Tee hee :)

PRESH.

They weren’t rid of me yet. I crawled in the limo to snap a quick shot of these tired kids:

This was one of those moments that was so sweet the picture has no way of showing it. As soon as David and Katie left, Katie’s parents collapsed in each other’s arms with bittersweet relief (*I think*) :)

Thanks again everyone!! You guys “ROCK” (that’s for you, BJ!)

David & Katie: a Clemson wedding {PART I}

Well hello there! I am back to blogging. Sorry I’ve been so busy lately!

David and Katie got married on April 17th! I just loved working with David and Katie and family, even though they ARE die-hard Clemson fans ;) . Everyone was super nice and easy to work with! Thank you, Bickers and Knobeloch families, for letting us celebrate with you!! ENJOY!! Part II will be up tomorrow, so don’t forget to check!
